Advancing Technology

Keeping up the Role of Technology has been and will perpetually be progressing. It assumes a significant job in everybody's life, and can be found anyplace. Regardless of whether it's a multi year old youngster playing with an IPhone, or a multi year old woman perusing a book on her encourage. There is Just no avoiding it. Be that as it may, with the progression of innovation, is society progressing with it, or Just turning out to be robots? To prevail in not being taken over by innovation individuals must be consistent with themselves, set cutoff points, and separate from it. Presently a days, nearly everybody has a type of internet based life network. It could be a Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and so on. That is the thing that makes the web such a hazardous spot. While on the PC anybody could put anything as themself. They could make counterfeit profiles or give bogus data about themselves, and the main individual who might know is them. Somebody could be conversing with who they a ccept is a charming multi year old young lady, who they need to get together with and date, yet actually it could be a multi year old trucker playing a Joke. It is simple for individuals to hole up behind a PC screen and that is the reason they do it so frequently. A prime case of this can be found from the T. V show â€Å"Catfish. What occurs in the show is, two individuals wind up conversing with one another nline; they begin talking for some time, and afterward they experience passionate feelings for while never observing one another. At that point the hosts of the show go to one of the individuals and assist them with meeting an amazing â€Å"love. † But out of the 24 disclosed scenes, just two individuals have really been who they truly said they were. In any case, there are a lot more individuals who aren't being who they truly state they are. So while utilizing innovation individuals ought to be who they truly are, and Just in light of the fact that they can take cove r behind a PC screen, they should even now be consistent with themselves. Escaping innovation isn't a simple task. Some individuals really need innovation or significant things, so they can't Just discard it. So as opposed to closing out innovation totally, individuals should Just set cutoff points for themselves. The cutoff is up to them; either scarcely utilizing innovation and Just heading outside and getting a charge out of nature, or reducing to a specific measure of hours they use it. When setting these cutoff points, consider the time that you truly need it. For example, for work, checking significant messages, or even school. Individuals should reduce and utilize it when they really need to, rather than utilizing it the entirety of when they don't have anything better to do.Using innovation for amusement is okay, Just attempt to curtail and set cutoff points with the goal that it isn't over utilized. Because somebody doesn't check their Facebook consistently, or gaze at their telephone while their Twitter news channel goes insane doesn't keep you separate from the circle. What's more, that is the way to not being dominated. A major issue that individuals get is that they feel that they should continually check their things so they don't miss something significant. The issue is that they are passing up what's going on the present moment and not concentrating on the current. They could be driving and get a urge that they'll miss a gathering welcome, so they should check.Or on the off chance that they are at a family get together and they are exhausted, they will Just go on Facebook and believe that, that is a superior method to invest their energy, however they really shouldn't utilize their telephone, and rather making the best of ought to disengage from innovation and the virtual world. Regardless of the age, regardless of the sexual orientation, everybody utilizes innovation. It assists individuals with traversing their regular day to day existences. I t could be utilized for business or Just amusement, yet regardless of what the explanation is individuals ought to consistently watch out to not be utilized by innovation. To do so they ought to make sure to be consistent with themselves, set limits, and to disengage from innovation.

It should be noticed that the group should work with neighborhood authorities and take their assistance for building up an arrangement. The nearby items and handworks can likewise be an incredible method to procure income from the deals and make better offices and limit with regards to the Heritage Sites all around the globe. During the time it has been seen that the first the travel industry scenes have gotten mainstream around World Heritage enters and this framework has demonstrated that the travel industry can be utilized for the use of Sustainable the travel industry, The WHC has endorsed seven dos and donts for the travel industry business which incorporate making a constraint for the neighborhood organization and their control over the business. The other angle is to give preparing and training to local people about history of site and making new position jobs for people as guides.(Sofield, 2003). No endeavor is fruitful without legitimate advancement, so the WHC teaches the directors to investigate approaches to advance the World Heritage Sites to get well known in national and global levels. Especially for Least Developed Countries (LDCs) the advancement of the travel industry is of most outrageous money related essentialness. In generally half of LDCs, the travel industry speaks to over 40% of GDP and is the most basic wellspring of outside exchange. In 2012 the amount of widespread visitor passages accomplished 1 billion (1.035 billion) shockingly. As indicated by the International Trade Center (ITC), LDCs, seeing the travel industry's money related pote ntial, have made the section a central backbone of their monetary improvement objective. Other than the positive pieces of the travel industry improvement, there in like manner typically exist extensive threats to the extent the corruption of the socio-social, budgetary and environmental assets of goals around the globe. The travel industry as a transversal budgetary zone, with its unpredictable gracefully chains and multi-accomplice frameworks can be used as a competent structure to efficiently bolster the development towards increasingly reasonable, cleaner and low-carbon headway advancement. Grasping the SCP approach in the travel industry layout and activities can in like manner encourage clients to move towards progressively reasonable use decisions(Programme, 2005). The travel industry business and WHC has given a unique program, to be specific the World Heritage Tourism Program which supports the advancement of the travel industry exercises and particularly feasible the travel industry improvement. The point is to keep the site sheltered and usable for the people in the future and increment odds of business and benefits for local people and furthermore expanding incomes. enables economical the travel industry exercises at World Heritage locales, including executing draws near, went for shielding the site for future periods. Potential relationship between the travel industry business and the World Heritage Tourism Program could place in development an essential plan of exercises to get ready resources for growing particular assistance to World Heritage destinations and neighborhood gatherings and testing innovative contemplations on open private exercises for site affirmation and protection (Brandl, 2015). The activity plan could be to include the neighborhood individuals as they know about the territory and they can help in taking an interest in improving the area. It for the most part occurs in a travel industry place that the neighborhood individuals are increasingly worried about the progressions being proposed and made so as to improve the travel industry in that particular area. Planning close by people of a network to practice activity in extemporizing the travel industry related activities has a ton of favorable circumstances like there would be a possession as far as proposing and progressing in the direction of a successful usage of the neighborhoods possible interest fuse backing, so as to make a program for the nearby aides. The nearby individuals should be made mindful of their history, gave preparing as and when required and ought to be instructed English well to assist them with speaking with others well. The neighborhood history and the accounts should be given to the n earby aides and visit conductors to connect with guests. Understanding material, flyers, leaflets and different items ought to be made accessible for the sightseers. The real individuals who have been occupants around the site ought to know about neighborhood stories, food and different goals. Standard arranging and requesting gifts can at last give the premise to the effective execution of the travel industry plan at legacy destinations. The travel industry ought to be viewed as a medium to raise assets for protecting and improvement of the current World Heritage site and its neighborhood. Additionally there could be a choice to make a nature indistinguishable circumstance where sightseers can take help of enormous towers or watchtowers that can be utilized to furnish guests with a nature indistinguishable feel. (Baumgartner, 2000). Results Tit is in this way comprehended the advancement of a Sustainable Tourism Project has the ability to expand the capacities and make new objectives. It is necessitated that more individuals are instructed about the World Heritage locales and furnish them with apparatuses that can engage them. To make better the travel industry viewpoints and gain better income from expanded voyagers. The focus on such task isn't to make new mediums or make better mindfulness among members with the goal that they can make extra intends to win income. The need today is an overall show and getting ready for an approach to synchronize the matter of development for the nearby, worldwide, gathering and furthermore the individuals who are to monetarily bolster the subject. The need is for all agents and financial specialists to abandon and make an arrangement to conserver the travel industry focus, (Dwyer, 2011). References Baumgartner, C., 2000. The novel Frankenstein Essay Example for Free

The tale Frankenstein Essay I have of late been so profoundly occupied with one occupation that I have not permitted myself adequate rest he gets run down, I think this smallly affects the novel in general however it bigly affects part five, it shows that he is exceptionally worried about the whereabouts of the beast, yet one thing we should mull over is the way that Victor Frankenstein overstates things, we know this from him thinking he is the casualty I got away and ran down the steps, so he may be causing his sickness to be emotional then it truly is. In section five we get some answers concerning Victor Frankensteins character. Everybody is bias; since everybody makes a decision about individuals before they know them. Its a natural response and isnt risky except if you adhere to your first judgment and that transforms into segregation. When Victor Frankenstein says, His highlights are wonderful, delightful? Incredible God! it shows how shallow he is, all things considered, all the more significantly it exhibits how sincerely unintelligent he is. Victor Frankenstein is a keen man, scholastically. He is a researcher, one that has made life; you may even consider him a virtuoso. Genuinely he is a disaster area. He says the mysteries of paradise and damnation this is his inspiration, what he needs to discover. He needs to be God and he needs to play with the lives of others, is this a rational keeps an eye on desire? Another approach to demonstrate this self-importance is the point at which he says so meriting my affection. He really trusts Frankenstein the beast needs his adoration to endure, when he is unequipped for cherishing anybody yet himself. It is clear Victor Frankenstein considers himself to be the person in question however I gotten away and ran down the steps got away from what? Frankenstein the beast was doing whatever it takes not to terrify him or murder him, simply looking for the love he needs; yet Victor Frankenstein is so self fixated he needs Frankenstein the beast to come after him so he can expound on how he is so difficult done by and how the world is out to get him. Victor Frankenstein is childish and self fixated, this is clear by the reiteration of the primary individual pronoun I and me, the language utilized here represents how solipsistic he is. The language in part five encourages us develop a thought of the setting. Dismal night of November this is in the principal sentence of part five, and it sets us up for a gothic/frightfulness classification. The wretched false notion utilized is an understanding to Victor Frankensteins sentiments; he is dismal like the environmental factors. The downpour pattered flame almost wore out Again unfortunate paradox shows Victor Frankensteins sentiments and the pattered downpour could connection to his psychological unsteadiness; pattered isnt clear, much the same as his own contemplations. Candles produce light, and light represents reality. The light is wearing out; this could be demise of a real existence and maltreatment of information. Frankenstein the beast is going to be made, so this is a complexity in symbolism, a wearing out flame speaks to death, yet another life is being made. A key subject in this novel is the job of ladies. The capacity of ladies is repetitive with the better approach for making life. I grasp her dead mother in my arms All the ladies in the novel kick the bucket, and Mary Shelly didnt put her name on the novel until thirteen years after production; this is a direct result of the partiality ladies had in the nineteenth centaury. Another key topic is science, and science versus religion. Individuals were intrigued in breathing life into the dead, and Victor Frankenstein depicts this in saying: I will saliate my passionate interest People were incredibly strict and the idea of bringing the dead back, and uncovering burial grounds was unsatisfactory to the congregation, and it raised good issues like is there a divine being? In such a case that man can make something that god can, would we say we are not all equivalent? I have discovered that the nineteenth century was loaded up with partiality and furthermore curiousness about existence in the wake of death and science. Religion assumed a massive job in the manner individuals lived, the entirety of this is reflected in the novel and we see Victor Frankenstein defy the guidelines of society and change the jobs of ladies so they are not, at this point required. The Native American Indian Population - 1293 Words

The population that has been officially chosen is the Native American population, also known as American Indian. Aside from the information given by this course, a Children’s Literature class taken at the Newark branch of the Ohio State University also contributed to my decision. During a lecture there was a guest speaker of Native American descent, she grew up on a reservation, and in her work she wrote and illustrated the Native American culture and lifestyle. Her lecture consisted of the perspective of the Native American population during colonization, and now, as well as the misconceptions of the population and discussed a council that allows the American Indian community to be aware of the number of tribes, the number of individuals within each tribe, and locations of various tribes. The essay will consist of the history of the American Indian population, current statistics, news within the last six months pertaining to the population, and links and resources will be pro vided. The class textbook, Strangers to These Shores 11th Edition by Vincent N. Parrillo, is the main resource utilized for historical information on the American Indian population. The book provides information on pre-colonization, stereotypes, government policies, current affects from colonization and statistics. The Complex Nature Of Diabetes And Its Effects On The...

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a serious, chronic disease which affects one out of every eleven people in the United States. Diabetes Mellitus, also known as Diabetes, is a complex endocrine disease dealing with excessive glucose in the blood. According to the American Diabetes Association, diagnostic tests used to confirm Type 1 and Type 2 are: Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) ≠¥ 126 mg/dl, Two-hour Plasma Glucose (PG) ≠¥200 mg/dl, Random plasma glucose ≠¥200 mg/dl, Glycated hemoglobin (A1C) test ≠¥ 6.5% repeated twice (2014). Corporal Punishment Speech free essay sample

The Degree of Pain Hi, my name is Isabel and I am here to talk to you about a sickening problem in America. I refuse to pretend like this isnt happening in our nation for any longer. Who here has ever been in trouble at school? Maybe you just got yelled at or had to serve a detention? If you lived in Texas, Tennessee or any of the other 19 states that allow corporal punishment in schools, you would be hit with a wooden paddle as a punishment in front of all of your peers. This happens to students of every age from primary school up until high school. It is vital that corporal punishment in schools is outlawed because it is inhumane, ineffective, teaches children violence, and teachers should not have the responsibility to hurt children. Corporal punishment is defined as â€Å"any punishment in which physical force is used and intended to cause some degree of pain or discomfort† (Time Magazine). We will write a custom essay sample on Corporal Punishment Speech or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page This type of punishment is legal in public schools in twenty U.S. states. Students are hit with anything from a paddle, which was originally invented to punish slaves, to a belt, a ruler, and other things. Some are even slapped, pinched, dragged across the floors, or grabbed on the arm or neck with enough force to leave a bruise. It makes me sick that people think that this behavior is okay. Students can be punished for cursing, failing to complete work, getting a bad grade, etc. It is used in primary, middle, and high schools. Children with disabilities are not exempt from this type of punishment. According to Time magazine, in Tennessee, disabled students are paddled more than twice the rate of the general student population. Anna M, the mother of an autistic child speaks out against corporal punishment. Her son of seven years old was physically punished repeatedly because his teacher believed that he was purposely making mistakes. Are we going to stand by and let this happen? Corporal punishment is still condoned because many schools do not have the resources to provide training for alternate teaching methods. Furthermore, schools claim that it is necessary because corporal punishment is performed right away and â€Å"cost effective†, meaning that all you need is a paddle. No busing is necessary for after school  detentions or resources for alternate punishments. In my opinion, these school’s arguments are weak. Detentions can be given out during school (in school suspension) or during student lunches, instead of corporal punishment. Corporal punishment is morally wrong and must be put to an end. The entire point of corporal punishment is to teach children and teens a lesson. They are supposed to be taught to learn from their mistakes never do what they did again. Studies show that the average child does not recognize right from wrong on their own until age 16. This means that all corporal punishment done in primary and elementary schools does not have any benefit to the child and is not teaching them. We are allowing our children to get physically abused at young ages with no educational benefit, or even a valid reason. Additionally, physical punishment is not allowed in juvenile centers, and yet it is allowed in schools? That to me, is extremely alarming. Time Magazine stated that â€Å"a 1997 Supreme Court ruling found that the Eighth Amendment only protects convicted criminals from cruel and unusual punishment, not students confined to a classroom.† If we protect criminals, shouldn’t we protect America’s children from all harms way? Corporal Punishment teaches children that physical punishment is acceptable. By using it in school, a learning environment, children will be more prone to hurting others when they are older. A study by Elizabeth Gershoff showed that corporal punishment is associated with 2/3 of abusive parents in the U.S. She also found that it results in increased aggression by 50%. is This includes their families and children, and also possibly any workers that they may have in a job with a powerful position. Lastly, Teachers should not have the responsibility to punish students in this way. Many people do believe that it is inhumane and teachers should not be obligated to hurt children even if it is their job. Even though parents may believe in corporal punishment, it is unfair for teachers to have to possibly go against their morals. All in all, corporal punishment is inhumane and morally wrong. Not only does it have long term effects on students but is useless until age sixteen. Nobody should be forced to use this method of punishment nor suffer from it. Children are being hurt in our nation and it is our responsibility to stop it. I refuse to ignored and American need to become educated on issues in our home. I believe that by educating more Americans about this issue, action will be taken. Thank you for listening and I hope that my words have impacted you.

What I Think About Fashion free essay sample

In most countries of the world the population is increasing alarmingly. This is especially true in poor, undeveloped countries. Overpopulation causes a considerable number of problems. In poor countries it is difficult to provide enough food to feed even the present number of people. In addition, education to limit the number of children per family is not always successful. Poorer countries usually have a lot of unemployment too, and an increase in population simply makes the situation worse. The environment also suffers when there are too many people living on the land. In rich, industrialised and developing countries it is very difficult for governments to provide effective public services in overcrowded cities. Moreover, there is usually a great deal more crime, which is often due to high rates of unemployment. Further large increases in population only cause more overcrowding, unemployment and crime. There are two main solutions to the overpopulation problem. Secondly, governments must educate people to limit the size of the family. In China, couples are penalised financially if they have more than one child. This may seem cruel, but the one-child policy is beginning to have an effect in the worlds most populous nation. Eventually, similar policies might also be necessary in other crowded nations such as India, for example. To sum up, if the population explosion continues, many more people will die of starvation in poor countries, and life in the cities, even in affluent nations, will become increasingly difficult

Beethoven Vs. Mozart essays

Beethoven Vs. Mozart essays Ludwig Van Beethoven and W.A. Mozart are the two most important musicians of their time. Their pieces are everlasting and will live on forever. Their styles are so unique and uplifting that they could never be matched. These masterminds played in the same time period but their lives differed tremendously. There are some similarities and many differences between these two but one fact will remain: They are the central and most vital part of all music. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was one of the most prolific and important musical innovators we have ever seen. His style of music helped re-shape music and the Classical period. Mozart was born in Salzburg, Austria in 1756. Mozart was a child prodigy, claiming most success as a youth. At the age of six, Mozart could play the harpsichord and violin, improvise fugues, write minuets, and read music perfectly. At the age of eight, he wrote a symphony and at eleven, an oratorio. Then amazingly, at the age of twelve he wrote an opera. Mozart's fathe r was Leopold Mozart, a court musician. Both Mozart and Beethoven had help from their fathers in different ways. Mozart's father helped him travel around as a young musician and with this he traveled many places and seen many well-known people and aristocrats. With Mozart's early successes came many challenges to his life. He had greater expectations from the community and from his father. Unlike, Beethoven, Mozart was a bit spoiled as a youth and because of this he would not tolerate to be treated as a servant. He completely relied on his father to help him and would not work with the archbishop. This would become a problem when Mozart did not develop enough initiative and could not make decisions on his own. Then, at age 25, Mozart broke free of Salzburg and became a freelance musician in Vienna. This is where Mozart found some success. He wrote, Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail, a German opera in 1782. Mozart earned a living giving lessons and holding conc...

Literary Analysis with 7 sources on William Faulkner's A Rose for Essay

Literary Analysis with 7 sources on William Faulkner's A Rose for Emily - Essay Example The representation of death and decay, involving the house, the town, and Emily herself are shown through her relationships with the male characters of the story. Emily symbolizes the victimized generation in South America after the civil war. She also stands as a metaphor of changes in womanhood and the society. This paper is a critical appreciation of the story. The central character in the story, Emily Grierson, stands as a symbol, representing a tradition. She is given the responsibility of upholding that tradition. The unknown narrator in the story calls her a â€Å"fallen monument†. Faulkner deliberately takes a woman to represent a fading tradition. Her emotions are shaped by her community which is responsible for creating such female victims. As Abby H. P. Weslock has written in her brief note on feminism, â€Å"A feminist critique, however, reveals Emily as a casualty of patriarchy and literally of her own father and lover† (Abby 245). She is both an idol and a victim because she is admired for keeping the tradition and also victimized for doing her duty. At the surface level, the story is about death, murder, and the changes in the social conditions during a transition period in America. However, at the bottom level, the theme is love and passion. Emily very desperately needs a man. Her passions were suppressed by the conventions of her society in which she lived, and she had absolutely no control over the situations. The narrator comments that â€Å"even with insanity in the family she wouldn't have turned down all of her chances if they had really materialized† (Faulkner). The only white light in her life is seen when Baron steps in, but that too does not last. The denial of this only chance drives her into insanity, turning her into a murderer. â€Å"We remembered all the young men her father had driven away†, points out the narrator (Faulkner). Emily, therefore, lives as a representative of those who made her pace betwe en social obligations and physical passion. She is a fine example showing how one’s passions turn into psychic illness. In short, her case is that of necrophilia. The attitudes of the people in the town serves as a contrast to Emily’s options in her life: she is â€Å"a sort of hereditary obligation upon the town† (Faulkner). In other words, the attitudes of the people are patriarchal. Emily lives an isolated life, â€Å"no visitor had passed since she ceased giving china-painting lessons eight or ten years earlier† (Faulkner). It is important to note that her miseries are not the result of her actions in life. In fact, she has no choice to act. The imagery used by the narrator to show the quantum of her isolation is: â€Å"She looked bloated, like a body long submerged in motionless water† (Faulkner). The story can, therefore, be called a sexist text, because, basically it deals with the victimization of female sex. However, the narrator remains n eutral to the old and new attitudes, leaving the readers to decide who wins, whether man or Emily. Robert Crosman observes that â€Å"If there is a battle between the sexes in â€Å"A Rose for Emily†, the reader must decide who wins† (Robert 361). Faulkner thus very cleverly involves the readers too with his skilful narrative techniques for judging Emily’s actions in the old mansion. A second closer look at how the tradition of patriarchy has made her insane is imperative. The story, â€Å"A Rose for Emily

Philosophy Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words - 9

Philosophy - Essay Example Accordingly, in order to attain a happy life, people should avoid the primary sources of unhappiness which are the fear of death and the fear of gods. According to Epicurus, fear of death and fear of the gods are the chief sources of unhappiness in life. The definition of unhappiness seems to be simple though and that is the absence of happiness. But, for Epicurus, Happiness is the outcome pleasure. Basically pleasure is good and pain is bad. The absence of pain in the body and trouble in the soul can describe pleasure. Gods do not really castigate humans nor reward which makes sense in thinking that a happy life comprises of being free from the fear of gods and death (Boeree, 2000). A tranquil life, coined as ‘ataraxia’ and ‘aponia’, significantly means being free from fear and not experiencing pain. â€Å"Ataraxia† is like the real happiness of a person and surpassing the material world who embraces the principles of philosophy. And ‘aponia’ caters to the belief that happiness is the main goal of the human life. The two terms is apparent to a tranquil life where trouble in the soul c an be taken away as well as the inhibition of physical pain. Pleasure is good and this state can be maximized through the absence of pain in physical and mental senses. For Epicurus, fear of gods and fear of death are the primary sources of unhappiness that greatly affect the views of a person. Some people choose pain over pleasure because of thinking that this might lead to a greater pleasure. Epicurus insists that living a quiet and private life could be the best in order to live a happy life (Epicurus, 2000). This is because he rejects the popular perspective of the time. Pointless or the unnecessary desire can cause mental disquiet which should be avoided. Accordingly, human should look into the desires in different perspectives like the natural ones and the unjustified ones. Thus, specific grounds for happiness or achieving the necessary desires should be

Gangs Essay -- essays research papers

Being that the closest that I have ever come to gangs or gangs violence is in television of movies, this topic intrigued me. What makes a person want to become part of something that is so violent and dangerous? Why would someone risk everything to put their lives on the line for people that are not even their blood relatives? As I read the material that I found in the library about gangs, I found out a lot about how this children's' though process works. They believe that the gang members are their family; to them it is not seen as the sinister organization of careless violence as it is to us "normal" Americans. To them the gang is their family. Children are joining gangs at younger ages; our current juvenile justice system is no longer adequate for today's hardened young gang members. According to recent studies in demographics the problem is not going away. This problem if ignored is going to lead to the decay of our society. In many of the articles that I read about gang violence they warned of the impending youth crime crisis. Youth violent crime has been rising dramatically for more than a decade. An upward surge in youthful perpetrators of violence is complemented by an unprecedented growth in youth living with little or no adult supervision. For decades mostly adults drove violent crime, with kids involved mostly in property crime. What has been changing is that juveniles are becoming much more ...

Speech About Education in Indonesia

Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb. Firstly, I would like to say thank because it is a great honor for me to stand here and give a brief speech entitled â€Å"Formal Education in Indonesia† Education system in our country is divided into two major parts, they are formal and non-formal. A formal education is divided into three levels: primary, secondary and tertiary education. While non-formal education is carried out for the learners who get difficulties to meet the requirements in formal education. An example of non-formal education is PLS or Outside School Education. Before entering primary or elementary school, children in ourcountry usually have attended kindergarten. But this education is not compulsory for Indonesian citizens, as the aim of this is just to prepare them for primary school. Children ages 7–12 attend primary education at Elementary School. This level of education is compulsory for all Indonesian citizens. Similar to education systems in the U. S. and Aust ralia, students must study for six years to complete this level. Some schools offer an accelerated learning program, where students who perform well can finish elementary school in five years. The next level is secondary education. After graduating from elementary school, students attend Middle School or Junior High School for three years from the age of 13-15. After three years of schooling and graduation, students may move on to Senior High School. In Indonesia, this school is basically divided into two kinds: SMA and SMK. SMA is different with SMK in their studies. The students at SMA are prepared to advance totertiary education or university, while students of SMK as a vocational school are prepared to be ready to work after finishing their school without going to university/college.The last level of education in our country is tertiary education. Students who have graduated from senior high school may attend to university or academy. They can choose any kinds of university or ac ademy based on their interests or scopes of knowledge, for example majoring in English, Mathematics, or teacher training university. I think that’s all my speech. I hope my brief description on the formal education in our country will be useful for us. Finally, I would like to say sorry if there are mistakes in my speech words. Thank you very much for your attention. Wassalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Traffic Jam in Lagos State, Nigeria - 1434 Words

TRAFFIC JAM IN LAGOS STATE, CAUSES AND EFFECTS INTRODUCTION Traffic Jam is a condition on road networks that occurs as use increases, and is characterized by slower speeds, longer trip times and increased vehicular queuing. There are all sorts of things that give Lagos a bad name. If it’s not the heaps of rubbish on the roads or the unwelcome attention you get from area boys and armed robbers, then it’s the epileptic power supply. But these arent really a problem if youre rich enough to buy a car with heavily tinted windows, live in a relatively crime free area and get a generator. Rush hour: When motorists are caught up on some particular roads during rush-hour, it causes more traffic. This is often between 6am to 9am and 4pm to 11pm. 6. It’s usually the straightest, smoothest, driest roads they choose to snarl up with their toll booths? Sorry, checkpoints. 7. The Fuel Queue Traffic Jam: This type of jam is usually found near petrol stations when there is a fuel shortage, and is caused by vehicles queuing for fuel and taking up whole lanes of traffic as a result. That’s bad enough, but the tension created by a large number of drivers desperate to get hold of fuel from the small amount available at the station means that this type of jam easily spawns lots of children Vehicle Accident and Undisciplined Driver Traffic Jams. 8. The High Human Density Traffic Jam. I know that the road is for vehicles and the pavements (or what pass for pavements in Lagos) are for pedestrians and other non-road users. But there are places (like Idumota and Oshodi) where there is such a density of human beings that the mass of non-road users oozes into the road and gums up the traffic. It’s often so bad that you even have pedestrian traffic jams alongside the vehicular jams.
